On 6/10/17 1132 hours, Harrisburg Police were assisting with the Act For America Rally on the Capital steps of N 3rd & State Streets.  During this Rally part of the protestors moved from the capital steps north bound on N 3rd Street throughout the midtown area.  Multiple mounted PSP Troopers and Harrisburg Police were assisting with moving a large crowd from blocking the 1200 BLK of N 6th Street towards the sidewalk.

A PSP Corporal and his partner, horse Sampson, were attempting to move the crowd when the defendant, Lisa Simon , used a flag pole with a silver nail at the top of the pole to strike horse Sampson in the side of the neck.  Simon did this while obstructing the troopers from performing their duties to move the crowd onto the sidewalk.

Simon resisted Harrisburg Police officers from effecting a lawful arrest.  Both the PSP Corporal and horse Sampson were able to continue working with minimal injury.

A warrant is being requested for the following charges:  Aggravated Assault to Police, Taunting Police Animals, Prohibited Offensive Weapons, Obstruction to Law Enforcement Function, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct

Terrorist groups including ANTIFA prepare to “disrupt” police event

I’m not sure when the law enforcement agencies will stop following their puppet masters’ orders and put an end to the chaos and violence Communist groups like Antifa are premeditating, but I do know that as long as the media is silent and the cowards are allowed to wear masks and damage property and attack innocent people, eventually a much stronger force from the right will show up to one of their events and put an end to them once and for all. Veteran groups, active military, current and former law enforcement or even biker groups need to make a stand. Enough is enough!

Confront the IACP in Philadelphia this October

This October, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) will hold their annual conference in Philadelphia. This is a call for an ambitious mobilization to directly disrupt the conference, to publicly spread an explicitly anti-police position, and to attempt to open up space that is hostile to state control. We hope to do so using both coordinated and decentralized, autonomous actions in the area immediately surrounding the conference in Center City and throughout Philly.

The IACP brings together law enforcement agencies from throughout the world to “advance the science and art of police services” through international coordination, training, and policy work. Their 2017 conference will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, with four days of workshops, an exhibition hall with corporate vendors, and a number of secondary events at other locations. Also, a “general assembly.”

This call for opposition comes from the perspective that policing is inherently a colonial, white supremacist project. From their inception, the police have had as their primary function the maintenance of a social order based on violent domination along lines of race, gender, class & ability; from slave patrols to strike-breakers and from vice squads to gang units. Opposition to the IACP presents a unique opportunity to advance a position that is absolutely against all policing, as a large part of the organization’s agenda mirrors that of those who would reform the institution. Body cameras, diversity in hiring, “trust and accountability,” and above all, “community policing” are all central themes of the conference and to recommendations for “21st Century Policing.”

As the Trump administration (universally endorsed by law enforcement unions during the election) bombastically seeks to reinvigorate the militarization of police, it is a crucial time to aggressively put forward an analysis that recognizes militarization and community policing not as divergent, but as complementary parts of a coherent strategy of domination.

Meanwhile, the hundreds of participating agencies and workshops starkly demonstrate the severe intersectionality of the violence the police have always carried out. Interlocking movements for black liberation, indigenous struggle against colonization, sex workers’ self-determination, resistance to ableist police violence, radical political movements resisting repression, queer rebellion, global anti-imperialism, migrant and refugee justice and no borders movements, housing justice, environmental struggles, and more, all have a stake in opposing the strategies and tactics that will be promoted at this conference.

The IACP conference puts on display what we know from our daily participation in diverse forms of resistance: that every struggle is a struggle against the police.

While all the departments involved have histories of (and foundations in) violence, many have also seen fierce resistance to that violence in the recent past. Participating departments from Albuquerque, Chicago, Milwaukee, Seattle, the Bay Area, and more have seen rebellions against them in the last several years. We hope to use this opportunity to build connections with those who carry these memories of antagonism towards the police and contribute to lived experiences of uncontrollable revolt.

Netanyahu’s son posts classic anti-Semitic meme, drawing praise from neo-Nazis

JERUSALEM — Israeli leaders and political commentators reacted with anger and bewilderment Sunday after Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, posted a classic anti-Semitic meme on his Facebook page.

Neo-Nazi groups in the United States and Holocaust denier David Duke, a former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, liked the post, however.

“Yair Netanyahu is a total bro,” wrote Andrew Anglin in the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer. “Next he’s going to call for gassings.”

Duke tweeted about it: “Welcome to the club, Yair — absolutely amazing, wow, just wow.” — David Duke

The image posted over the weekend by the younger Netanyahu, who goes by the name “Yair Hun” on Facebook, appears to be a local take on a classic anti-Semitic meme suggesting that Jews control the United States. It has appeared widely on extreme alt-right websites.

In this instance, it depicts his father’s perceived foes: American Jewish billionaire philanthropist and investor George Soros, outspoken former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, activist Eldad Yaniv, and Meni Naftali, a former housekeeper for the Netanyahus who successfully sued them for mistreatment.

Netanyahu captioned the meme “the food chain.”

It is not clear who created the caricature, but many in Israel condemned it and expressed shock that the prime minister’s son would share such an image.

Barak suggested he should see a psychiatrist.

“Is this what the kid hears at home?” he wrote on Twitter. “Is it genetics, or a spontaneous mental illness? It doesn’t matter. In any case, we should fund his psychiatrist instead of security guards and a driver.”

Netanyahu responded to Barak by telling him to get a geriatric nurse: “I hope Ehud Barach [a play on words meaning ‘Ehud ran away’] didn’t tweet about me from his seat in Boston (between one shady deal or another) while drunk on whiskey (as I well recall). Time to get a geriatric nurse, Ehud.”

He also responded to an article about his post in the left-leaning newspaper Haaretz, calling the publication anti-Semitic.

“It’s a particularly sad day for Israel when a caricature endorsed by the head of the KKK emerges from the home of the prime minister of the Jewish state,” wrote recently elected Labor leader Avi Gabbay on Twitter.

“Every Jew should feel a sense of shame that a Der Stürmer-style cartoon has come out of the Israeli Prime Minister’s residence and was embraced by one of the great anti-Semites. Erase, apologize and condemn!” wrote Opposition Chairman Isaac Herzog on Twitter.

“This post was not put up by mistake, this is in keeping with the views of his father,” activist Eldad Yaniv told The Washington Post. “He wants to set Israeli society on fire, pitching people against each other, so he can hide the suspicions that are against him.”

On Twitter, Yaniv shared the image posted by Yair Netanyahu together with the original, which he called the inspiration behind a post from “the son of the prime minister of the Jewish people.”

Yaniv, together with former housekeeper Naftali, have been leading weekly protests against the prime minister and the attorney general over what they see as a failure to issue indictments against Netanyahu in at least two cases of alleged corruption.

Three weeks ago, the two men were violently arrested and held overnight by police for Facebook posts calling on the public to join them. Last week, in a speech to his supporters, Netanyahu publically attacked the two men, calling them anarchists and criminals.

On Friday, Netanyahu’s wife, Sara, was informed by the attorney general that she will likely face charges for excessive spending, ordering — against protocol — ready-made food and hiring private chefs to the prime minister’s residence in Jerusalem.

Writing in the daily Yediot Aharonot, commentator Ben Dror Yemini said this post indicated the prime minister and his family were panicking.

“If that wasn’t clear then along came this cartoon to demonstrate that something bad, very bad, is happening in the [prime minister’s] residence on Balfour Street. When an anti-Semitic cartoon gets posted there, that is no longer just the problem of the people who reside in the residence. It is the State of Israel’s problem,” he wrote.

Last month, at the time of the neo Nazi march in Charlottesville, Yair Netanyahu also caused controversy by equating neo-Nazis with activists from far-left anti-fascist groups known as “antifa.”

“I’m a Jew, I’m an Israeli, the neo nazi scums in Virginia hate me and my country. But they belong to the past. Their breed is dying out,” the 26-year-old wrote on Facebook. “However the thugs of Antifa and BLM who hate my country (and America too in my view) just as much are getting stronger and stronger and becoming super dominant in American universities and public life.”

The summer protest season appears to be ending with drama

John E. Sheerin, age 63, is probably one of the weirder far-left extremist protestors in Philly.   He’s been appearing in comments sections on just about any drama that occurs in the city, and he’s out on the streets with Asa Khalif at his protest events.

Here’s a post where he was badgering Daphne Jenkins, a Philadelphia GOP ward leader, for electing to appear on CNN after Donald Trump’s rally in Phoenix, AZ to give her views on what she thought of the President’s remarks:

Sheerin said just about everything except calling Jenkins a ‘house n***er.’

Angered, Jenkins replied that CNN approached her to appear on camera independently and not any member of the Philadelphia GOP sending her to the show [does the Phila GOP run the CNN newsroom?]  No one at the GOP City Committee had any clue that Jenkins was going to appear on live television.   It was the simple sight of a black Trump supporter; the mere idea that there are black people who support the President–in Philly!–set Sheerin off in tirades.

The last thing that would convince Jenkins to quit being a Republican would be an angry old white man ordering her what to think.  Sheerin later climbed down from his rant.

Philadelphia Police arrested Sheerin for terroristic threats which were made August 16th “Philly is Charlottesville” rally, the one where Councilwoman Helen Gym proposed getting rid of the Rizzo statue.

Pro-police supporters have been filing complaint forms to the School District of Philadelphia, where Sheerin works as a teacher.

A Philadelphia public school teacher has been charged in connection with an altercation with police during a protest near the statue of Frank Rizzo, the city’s former mayor and police commissioner, outside the Municipal Services Building earlier this month, authorities said Saturday.

John Edward Sheerin, 63, of the 6200 block of Hasbrook Avenue in the city’s Crescentville section, was arrested without incident Friday night and charged with terroristic threats and harassment for allegedly making verbal threats of violence to a Philadelphia police officer, police said.

The alleged incident occurred Aug. 16 at the 10-foot bronze statue at 15th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, across from City Hall. Thousands of demonstrators who had participated in a “Philly Is Charlottesville” march had surrounded the statue and called for its removal.

Sheerin is a teacher at the Julia de Burgos School in North Philadelphia, according to School District payroll records.

The district was aware of the alleged incident, was investigating Sheerin prior to his arrest, and had removed him from the school pending outcome of the probe, said spokesman Kevin Geary. He declined to elaborate, citing personnel matters.

“The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority,” Geary said in a statement. “This is a matter which we take very seriously.”

On his Facebook page, Sheerin thanked supporters who camped out in front of the 19th Police District station while he was being held there.

“I really can’t believe you guys stayed out there all night. It must have been so uncomfortable. But I learned something about discomfort from my first night in a cell. There’s nothing SOFT in a cell!” Sheerin wrote.

He did not respond to several requests for comment via phone, email, text, and a visit by a reporter to his home Saturday night.

Late Saturday morning, Asa Khalif, a leader of Black Lives Matter Pennsylvania, posted on Facebook: “Our comrade is home safe and sound. This man is a true soldier in the fight for justice. Proud to have him as a friend and ally. Thanks John Sheerin. #Salute”

The hulking Rizzo statue has been the target of protests and renewed calls for its removal that heated up after deadly violence erupted in Charlottesville, Va., in mid-August after a clash between white nationalists and counterprotesters over the removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

The Rizzo statue was defaced Aug. 17 with the message “Black Power” spray-painted in white. City workers power-washed the message from the statue, which has been egged in recent weeks. A mural of Rizzo in South Philadelphia was defaced with spray paint last weekend.

Councilwoman Helen Gym has said that the statue should go, and Mayor Kenney, a fellow Democrat, has said it is time to discuss its future, though he has not taken a public position on removal. Kenney said the city Art Commission would decide the fate of the statue after conducting a hearing.

Activists who want the 2,000-pound statue removed say Rizzo oppressed black citizens as police commissioner in the 1960s and became mayor in part by appealing to the racial fears of white Philadelphians. Others say Rizzo championed the little guy and the statue should remain.

Rizzo was elected in 1971, then a Democrat, and served two terms. He died in July 1991 during a comeback campaign for mayor, running as a Republican against Ed Rendell, the Democratic nominee.

Mum’s the word on antifa

Last weekend in Berkeley, Calif., a group of neo-communist antifa–anti-fascist–thugs attacked peaceful protesters at a No to Marxism in America rally, wielding sticks and pepper spray and beating people with homemade shields that read (I kid you not) No Hate.

The Washington Post reports how one peaceful protester “was attacked by five black-clad antifa members, each windmilling kicks and punches into a man desperately trying to protect himself.” Members of the Berkeley College Republicans were then stalked by antifa goons who followed them to a gas station and demanded they “get the [expletive] out” of their car, warning, “We are real hungry for supremacists and there is more of us.”

The organizer of the anti-Marxism protest is not a white supremacist. Amber Cummings is a self-described “transsexual female who embraces diversity” and had announced on Facebook that “any racist groups like the KKK [and] neo-Nazis . . . are not welcome.” The protest was needed, Cummings said, because “Berkeley is a ground zero for the Marxist Movement.”

As if to prove Cummings’ point, the antifa movement responded with jackboots and clubs–because their definition of “fascist” includes not just neo-Nazis but also anyone who opposes their totalitarian worldview.

And let’s be clear: Totalitarian is precisely what they are. Mark Bray, a Dartmouth lecturer who has defended antifa’s violent tactics, recently explained, “Its adherents are predominantly communists, socialists and anarchists” who believe that physical violence “is both ethically justifiable and strategically effective.” In other words, they are no different from neo-Nazis.

Neo-Nazis are the violent advocates of a murderous ideology that killed 25 million people last century. Antifa members are the violent advocates of a murderous ideology that, according to The Black Book of Communism, killed between 85 million and 100 million people last century. Both practice violence and preach hate. They are morally indistinguishable. There is no difference between those who beat innocent people in the name of the ideology that gave us Hitler and Himmler and those who beat innocent people in the name of the ideology that gave us Stalin and Dzerzhinsky.

The United States defeated two murderous ideologies in the 20th century. So we should all be repulsed by the sight of our fellow Americans carrying the banners of either movement, whether they are waving the red flags of communism or black flags of Nazism. Yet we are not.

As Alex Griswold recently pointed out, the New York Times has published no fewer than six opinion pieces this year defending communism, including essays praising Lenin as a conservationist, explaining why Stalinism inspired Americans, and arguing that the Bolsheviks were romantics at heart and that women had better sex under communism. Can one imagine the Times running similar pieces about the Nazis?

My mother and grandfather fought the Nazis in Poland during World War II, and her family then endured the Stalinist terror that followed, when Nazi occupation was replaced by Soviet domination. So forgive me if I see little moral distinction between the swastika and the hammer and sickle. Both are evil, and their modern adherents need to be condemned, especially when they dare to commit acts of violence in our midst to advance their hateful visions.

Both the left and the right have a responsibility to police their own movements. In the 1960s, William F. Buckley excommunicated the anti-Semitic John Birch Society from the respectable right, and today conservatives have a responsibility to do the same with the white nationalists of the alt-right.

Those on the left have responsibilities as well–responsibilities few are meeting. This week I asked the office of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for her statement of condemnation. To her credit, Pelosi issued a strong statement Tuesday, declaring, “The violent actions of people calling themselves antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation, and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted. In California, as across all of our great nation, we have deep reverence for the Constitutional right to peaceful dissent and free speech. Non-violence is fundamental to that right.”

Good for her. So why haven’t more leading Democrats done the same? After Charlottesville, the media rightly demanded that President Donald Trump and all Republicans condemn the neo-Nazis and the KKK. So where are the calls for Democrats to condemn antifa and the brutal public condemnation for those who fail to do so? If black-clad neo-Nazis had attacked peaceful protesters at a No to Racism in America march in Berkeley, politicians in Washington would be falling over themselves to express their disgust–and any who failed to do so would be vilified. But when neo-communists commit this kind of violence, they get a pass from the left.

That cannot be allowed to stand.

Antifa Classified as Domestic Terrorists by DHS

The Department of Homeland Security in 2016 formally classified the actions of the anarchist group Antifa as “domestic terrorist violence.”

Federal authorities have been warning state and local officials of Antifa’s increasingly dangerous tactics — including attacks on the police — since early 2016 but were widely ignored long before Charlottesville and while Barack Obama was still president, Politico reported.

Further, DHS and the FBI were worried that Antifa might resort to terrorist bombings at one or both of the political conventions last summer, Politico reported.

Though it reportedly exists without a leader or official chain of command, Antifa members are connected and operate much like terrorist cells do, and in April of 2016, a joint report by the FBI and DHS members spend weeks planning for violence at selected events, Politico reported.

And the escalation had been on the feds’ radar long before the rest of the country — including the media — caught up.

“Both the racists and a segment of violent Antifa counter-protestors are amped for battle in an escalating arms race, where police departments are outmaneuvered, resulting in increasingly violent dangerous confrontations,” former New York City police officer Brian Levin, who has been monitoring domestic militants for 31 years, told Politico. “It’s an orchestrated dance. The rallies spill over into social media and then even more people show up at the next rally primed for violent confrontation.”

Also in that April 2016 report, the FBI and DHS warned that Antifa would get more violent if “fascist, nationalist, racist or anti-immigrant parties obtain greater prominence or local political power in the United States, leading to anti-racist violent backlash from anarchist extremists,” Politico reported.

Further, Politico reports that some of the Antifa terrorists traveled to Turkey to train with kindred organizations, including two fighting against ISIS.
